Dr. Faruque Qasem

Dr. Md. Faruque Qasem is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon based in Bangladesh. He obtained his MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College in January 1986, and is registered with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) under registration number A16245. He began his career in February 1986, serving in the government sector under the Ministry of Health. He went on to pursue higher education and completed his MS in Orthopedic Surgery from the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) in January 2000. Throughout his career, He has served in various medical institutions, including Rajshahi Medical College, National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), and Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital. Prior to his retirement in March 2020, he served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital, Dhaka. Currently, He is serving as the Chief Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery at Central Police Hospital (CPH), Rajarbag, Dhaka, a position he has held since October 2020. With his extensive education, training, and experience, Dr. Qasem is a respected and trusted medical professional in his community.
