Dr. Sakif Shahriar

Dr. Sakif Shahriar is an experienced interventional Cardiologist in Bangladesh who graduated with an MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, Dhaka, in 2006. He has completed FCPS Medicine training and postgraduate training, passing MD (Cardiology) in 2015. Dr. Shahriar has a long working experience in the department of Cardiology at different centers and completed his postgraduate fellowship training in Peaking university hospital, Beijing, China, in 2018. He is capable of performing all types of cardiac interventional procedures. Dr. Shahriar has a good experience in managing all types of emergency medicine and cardiac patients. He is versatile in different academic activities and has presented scientific papers around the world, obtaining awards and being elected as a board member in the Asian Society of Cardiology (ASC). Dr. Shahriar is now working as a consultant and clinical interventional Cardiologist in the National Institute of cardiovascular diseases (NICVD) in Dhaka. His areas of expertise include Cardiology, Hypertension, Ischemic heart disease, Heart failure, Rheumatic heart disease, and Medicine.
